Program Overview: The CGINTL team supported the DHS/ITSO in its strategic session on improving the overall effectiveness of its leadership team and its customer service delivery by providing a half day highly interactive program on Emotional Intelligence (EI). The program focused on:
- Recognizing the benefits of EI to personal development, leadership and delivering exceptional customer service
- Understanding EI competencies and how to further develop them
- Identifying personal strengths/ limitations using the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory
- Leveraging appropriate EI competencies in utilizing leadership styles to achieve strategic objectives
- Creating a culture which delivers results through effective work relationships
- Building a developmental action plan that strengthens emotional intelligence skills
